Wax melts are basically wickless candles. Just put a cube or two into a wax warmer and your room or home will smell amazing in about 20 minutes. 

Changing out the wax melts every 3-4 days is ideal. The package contains 6 cubes which usually will last 2-3 weeks depending on how many cubes you put in your wax warmer at a time.

We recommend to change out your old wax before adding a new cube to your warmer. Your wax melts came with instructions on how to use and change them out. Please reach out to our support team for additional assistance. 

 To avoid large flames, trim the wick of your candle before each new use.  

Yes, our company is always looking for ways to make our planet safer and our wax is biodegradable.  

 If you burn your candle for longer than 4 hours at a time, carbon will collect on the wick and your wick will begin to "mushroom". This can cause the wick to become unstable, the flame to get too large, your candle to smoke, and soot to be released. We recommend extinguishing the flame, allowing the candle to solidify, trim the wick and then relight.  

All of our candles come to you with the wick already trimmed to the desired length for your initial burn. All subsequent burns will require you to trim the wick for the best performance. You can trim the wick by using wick trimmers, nail clippers or by simply pinching off the top of the wick. Make sure you do not cut the wick too short.  1/4 inch is an ideal length. 

We work closely with our clients including event planners to create custom candles. You can simply send an email to support@oceanavenuecandles.com with your request. We will  then discuss custom options such as jars, candle color, and fragrance.  We ask that large custom orders be put in at least 6 weeks in advance.
